The Heterocosmic Museum of Art collects and exhibits works by artists who never existed, from universes that diverged from our own at specific historical moments — each one a window into an alternate history of human creativity.
The early response to this project was more than we expected. Enthusiastic enough, in fact, to make us stop.
We decided to step back and rethink the technical architecture of the site — and everything around it — so that what we are building can actually scale to what we want it to become. That process takes time. It takes resources.
That is why we are going to Kickstarter.
